Huawei managed to receive positive feedback with the Huawei Pura 70 series, which was launched earlier this year. While the Chinese manufacturer is working on the continuation of the series without wasting any time, recent reports reveal new information about the Huawei Pura 80 Pro.
Huawei Pura 80 Pro may come with a special camera instead of a Sony sensor
According to the latest report shared by Digital Chat Station, Huawei will use a specially developed main sensor instead of a Sony sensor in the Pura 80 Pro. If we explain this a little more, the model will feature the SmartSens SC5A0CS, a 1-inch RYYB sensor developed by Huawei with a resolution of 50 MP.
In addition, the smartphone will feature a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50 MP periscope telephoto macro camera. It is stated that artificial intelligence (AI) features will also be used in the smartphone’s cameras.
All three sensors on the device will use a special RYYB color filter that increases light intake by up to 40 percent to improve low-light performance.
Huawei Pura 80 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Just like its predecessor, this model will also have variable refresh rate support, which can go up to 120 Hz.
Huawei has not yet confirmed the processor of the device. However, its predecessors, the Pura 70 Pro and 70 Ultra, featured the company’s own Kirin 9010 processor. Therefore, it is most likely expected that the new model will come with a processor from the Kirin series.
Although Huawei has not officially announced the release date of the Pura 80 series, past reports suggest that the company will introduce this series in June. Finally, it is reported that Huawei is constantly testing the devices and making stock preparations in advance to avoid any problems during the launch.
